This post is really an update to our experience on Sky Princess back in September 2021, when we did a 3 night staycation cruise. You can find that post here. Our experience was quite different this time, read on to find out what was better or worse!
Our two week cruise was a Mediterranean cruise, starting from Southampton and enjoying ports in France, Spain and Gibraltar. We were supposed to stop in Italy too, but the ports were changed in the run up to the cruise due to Covid restrictions.

This is my 4th and final review of the “staycation” cruises we did this summer. We were on board the beautiful Disney Magic for 3 nights, and it was lovely to be back! This was my 9th Disney cruise, with the majority of those being on the Magic, but it was my first time aboard a Disney ship as a gluten-free cruiser.

This blog post will cover the eating choices we made on our recent 10 night Scottish driving holiday. Our first stop was Glasgow (for lunch!) and over the course of the holiday we visited Loch Lomond, Oban, Isle of Mull, Iona, Fort William, Mallaig, Isle of Skye, Pitlochry, Edinburgh and Durham (our stop to break the journey home).

Welcome to my first ever blog post!! And what a way to start, with a review of my four night cruise onboard the brand new MSC Virtuosa. The Virtuosa was originally slated to launch in September, but thanks to the pandemic (the gift that just keeps on giving!), she wasn’t able to do her first passenger sailing until the 20th May 2021. Along with numerous other cruise lines, MSC launched a summer full of UK staycation (or maybe seacation!) cruises, and the Virtuosa was the very first ship to set sail. At full capacity, the Virtuosa can hold well over 6000 passengers however for our cruise, thanks to government guidelines and the protocols that all of the cruise lines have to operate under in relation to COVID-19, it was limited to a maximum of 1000 passengers. We thought that this was an excellent time to try out a brand new ship without it being too busy.
